What is "Palace Fields Community Text Alert":
This "Community Text Alert" is based on the "WhatsApp" messaging service. Its a one way communication service, to keep the residents of the Palace Fields Estate, updated realtime regarding suspicious activity taking place, general alerts, and news information, in an effort to ensure that the Palace Fields Estate continues to be a safe place to live. Everyone in the estate plays a role, taking note of suspicious vehicles, taking registration plate numbers, and also taking note of groups of people loitering in our estate for no apparent reason, and moving them along.
The Community Text Alert, is operated in conjunction with An Garda Siochana, in an effort to suppress all anti-social behavior.
No one, or no activity, will go unnoticed and An Garda Siochana will be notified immediately regarding any suspicious behaviour within the estate. In parallel everyone in the estate will be notified of the activity immediately in parallel.
