Palace Fields Open Air Mass - Monday 27th August 2012

Our First Open Air Mass - A meet and greet occasion 

A big thank you for everyone who took time out to attend Palace Fields first open air Mass last Monday night (27th August 2012).  The heavy rain never turn up but the Archbishop of Tuam Most Rev. Michael Neary, Fr. Francis, Fr. Shane, and Fr. Sean all enter our life's - great honour. Many thanks to the 250 residents who welcome Archbishop and Fathers to Palace Fields,  you make a differents and your present was warmly received - "Thrill and delighted" . It is hope that a open air mass will be celebrated on each of the nine greens in the estate. Many thanks to Fr. Francis Mitchell who idea it was and gave great  encouragement.

Wielkie podziękowania dla wszystkich, którzy wzięli czas na uczęszczać Fields palacu otwarte masy powietrza w nocy poniedziałek (27 sierpnia 2012).Mokra pogoda nie przyjechać, ale arcybiskup Tuam Michael Neary, ks. Franciszek, ks. Shane, i ks. Sean wchodzi nasze życie jest - wielki honor. Podziękowania dla 250 mieszkańców, którzy przyjmują arcybiskupa i ojców do Fields Palace. . Jest nadzieja, że otwarte masy powietrza obchodzony będzie każdego z dziewięciu zieleni w nieruchomości. Serdeczne podziękowania dla ks. Francis Mitchell, który to był pomysł i dał świetne wsparcie.

9 Times out of 10 outdoor Masses go ahead even on wet days, as there usually a break in the weather all its takes is 30 - 45 minutes in between shower for the service to go ahead. It has be known to be very wet day and clear late evening allowing the mass to proceed. 
Its advisable to bring a rain coat and umbrella to be sure.

Post Mass Meeting Saturday 18th of August 2012 - An outdoor meeting was held on Mass site green, the best position of the Altar was found. Its is hope that the open air mass will become annual event with Mass being celebrated on each of the nine greens in years to come. Present at meeting Fr. Francis, Fr. Shane, Micheal Goss, Liam Martin, Mary Monaghan and John Fleming

Fr. Francis - Palace Fields Visit.

Fr. Francis visited Palace Fields today at 4PM -Friday 3rd of August 2012.
                                                                 An meeting was held in John Fleming house No.77.
It was discuss that an Open Air Mass would take place on Monday 27th August 2012 at 8PM on the green outside Chairman Michael Goss house No.48. This green has 360 degree road access where people can stand and watch the mass without damaging  the grass even in wet condition .

Fr. Francis said that there would be 3 priest attending the mass - Fr. Francis, Fr. Sean and Fr. Shane it will a meet and greet occasion in a relax and happy environment.
Present at the meeting was Fr. Francis, Vice Chairman Liam Martin, Kitty OConnor, Karen Kennedy, Liam Halion and John Fleming.
