Michael Goss, our first Chairman of the Palace Fields Residents Association announced his retirement as Chairman, after 6 years at the January 2015 Resident meeting
Michael did an outstanding job during his time here, and was instrumental in the initiation of the Palace Fields Residents Association here in Tuam, Co. Galway. A special thanks to you Michael, for all your efforts as Chairman of the Palace Fields Estate and setting a high standard for us to follow from your many friends and Residents of the Palace Fields Estate.
From January 2015 to February 2016, William Martin, Vice Chairman of the Palace Fields Residents Association adopted the role of Chairman, until a new candidate was elected at the February 2016, A.G.M..
At the February 2016, A.G.M., Ronan O'Ceallaigh was elected Chairman of the Palace Fields Residents Association, and is currently the new Chairman.
After meeting with Palace Fields builder JJ Rhatigan in 2009 it was decided that resident Association ( costing €60 per year) would serve Palace Fields residents better compare to expensive management company(costing over €400 per year) for up keep of Palace Fields estate.
Michael Goss was elected as the First chairman Palace Fields Resident Association it was set up in the back drop of the worst recession to hit Ireland, the estate wouldnt have look as good if it wasnt for Michael leadership.
After 6 years the resulting low cost of €60 (reduce from original €132) to maintain estate is credit to Michael and Resident Association.
